‘Responding to Contemporary Safeguarding Challenges’.
#SafeguardingAdultsWeek
We are pleased to announce that Safeguarding Adults Week 2022 takes place from 21 - 27 November 2022.
The week will be launched on 18 November during a face-to-face safeguarding event, which will bring senior key figures in Safeguarding together, from Hull and East Riding to discuss contemporary safeguarding issues.
The week will enable more organisations and individuals to feel confident in recognising signs of abuse and neglect and reporting safeguarding concerns.
Virtual workshops will be available on topics such as:
- County Lines,
- Domestic Abuse,
- Preventing Radicalisation,
- Keeping Organisations Safe,
- Preventing Fraud,
- Safeguarding Young Adults,
- Care Standards and much more.
Booking is essential and is now available via eventbrite
We hope the week will enable more organisations and individuals to feel confident in recognising signs of abuse and neglect and recording and reporting safeguarding concerns.
Each day of the week we will focus on a different safeguarding theme to explore how we can respond to contemporary safeguarding challenges.
