Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the UK government has implemented unprecedented measures in an attempt to reduce the spread of the virus.
These measures may unfortunately have an impact on your daily lives, resulting in the need for extra support.
If you are struggling to cope at the moment, or concerned about a friend or neighbour, or if someone you know needs support, then help is available.
Hull City Council and the voluntary sector are working together to provide support in some of the following areas
- payment of bills
- collection of your medication

Suport for young people in Hulll
Below is the link to our website for children, young people and families which links directly to the newly developed local resources on managing emotional health during the outbreak. Some are adapted from national ones e.g. mind and some developed locally but all have been developed with young people (virtually) to address concerns.
They include coping with anxiety, managing during isolation, daily planner etc.

Support for Community Groups
Below are various support that will help Voluntary Community Sector groups operate and support the community during the response to Covid 19.
John Lewis Partnership
John Lewis Partnership has launched a £1m community support fund to be distributed across the country “at this time of national crisis”.
The the cash will be distributed through its Waitrose grocery stores for schemes such as local delivery services to support the self-isolating, the vulnerable, older people and those looking after them, as well as for delivering boxes of staples to local care homes. It will donate products for customers to share with vulnerable neighbours.
