There are a number of local groups and activities who meet regularly across Hull. If you are interested in joining a group or activity, you can search our local groups and activities directory.
You will be able to find a large range of local groups that specialise in all kinds of different activities. This is an excellent way to help you connect with your local community and get you out and about, whilst doing something you enjoy.
The cost can vary depending on the nature of the group and who runs it, sometimes, these services can be found at various locations including -
- local community centres
- resource centres
- extra care sites
- leisure centres
- parks and open spaces
- places of worship
- residential homes.
You can search the whole directory in alphabetical order or search for specific things using the filters. You can also use the search bar to type in a word or phrase and discover what things you may find.
Each entry will give you some information about the group along with contact details so you can get in touch.
Local groups would prefer you to make contact with them first as it helps them to plan for the activities. It’s also a good idea to find out more about the group before going along as you need to make sure it feels right for you.
The information provided in the local groups and activates directory have been provided by the local groups themselves.
